FINE DINING,
KEY WEST STYLE

A CULINARY EXPERIENCE

Fresh, Local & Eclectic Dining In the Heart of Old Town, Key West

Fine Dining Restaurant in Key West with Loud Flavors & a Warm Welcome

A great restaurant in Key West should feel like dinner with friends, not a formal reception. At Milagro Restaurant & Bar, we serve a Latin-inspired, Florida-fresh menu in Old Town, where shorts and sandals are as welcome as your appetite.
Family-owned since 2017, we do Key West fine dining without the stiffness: scratch-made food, serious tequila, and warm hospitality. New American cuisine with island flair.

Latin, Mexican & Caribbean Influence:

Family-Owned Charm. Key West Fine Dining with a Twist

Milagro July 22 (164 of 304)_edited.jpg

Chef Kevin Montoya spent most of his career cooking alongside Michelin-starred chefs before trading the corporate kitchen for something more personal. After Hurricane Irma battered the Florida Keys in 2017, he and General Manager Maggie Montoya left their careers to bring hope, and good food, to a community that needed both.

What we've built doesn't look like old-guard fine dining. No white tablecloths, no dress-code stares. Just a relaxed room, multi-course meals worth lingering over, and the standards that put us among the best fine dining Key West has to offer.

Plus, An Intimate Bar Featuring...

Latin, Mexican, and Caribbean, Made From Scratch

Our kitchen runs on Latin, Mexican, and Caribbean flavors, built around local Florida Keys seafood and tropical produce. Almost everything is scratch-made, from the sauces and salsas to the rubs on the grill.

Expect wood-grilled octopus, Key West pink shrimp, Florida lobster tail, hogfish, and chicken thigh pastor tacos. Want heartier? A double-bone Cheshire pork chop, wood-grilled ribeye, or twin tenderloin medallions paired with lobster tail. Guests put us on their list of the best dinner restaurants in Key West for this exact reason.

HANDCRAFTED & HOUSEMADE

Craft Cocktails, Fine Wine, and Serious Tequila

The bar isn't a sidekick to the kitchen. We pour craft cocktails built on fresh-squeezed juices, infused vodkas, and tropical fruit. The tequila list runs genuinely deep, with flights that walk you through styles, agave regions, and finishes you won't find on most menus.

Wine and beer round it out, chosen to play well with the food. Tell your server what you ordered, and they'll point you to the right pour.

One of Old Town's Unique Duval Street Restaurants

You'll find us at 821 Duval Street, two blocks from the Southernmost Point of the continental USA and steps from the bars, shops, and galleries of Old Town Key West. Plenty of Duval Street restaurants serve the tourist crowd well. We aim for something a little quieter and more considered, with food and service locals come back for after the cruise ships leave. Come for sunset; stay for a long, unhurried meal.

Happy Hour and Specials for Locals

Our happy hour in Key West runs Tuesday through Saturday, 5:00 to 6:30 PM (excluding holidays). Pull up to the bar or a high-top and order from the menu we built for it:

  • Small-plate specials pulled from the dinner menu

  • 25% off the full check for Florida Keys locals

Walk-ins are welcome at the bar. So is good conversation.
